MFT Style Worktop

November 9, 2021 by LeRoy Michaelson Leave a Comment

I finally got around to building an MFT type workbench top. This has 20mm holes drilled in a precise 96mm matrix, allowing for accurate positioning of materials and for clamping. The first step was to cut a 30" x 60"piece of 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood (at the moment, worth two posts of gold.) The next step was to accurately drill the 20mm holes in a precise matrix. … [Read more...] about MFT Style Worktop

Adding 110 Outlets to our Lance RV Dinette

August 23, 2021 by LeRoy Michaelson 2 Comments

We tried a … [Read more...] about Save Propane – Connect Weber Q Grill to RV Tanks

Lance Trailer Outdoor Shower Upgrade

We rarely intend to use the outdoor shower in our new Lance model 1995 travel trailer. However, the hose takes up valuable storage space in the bathroom vanity. Thanks to smart people on the Lance Owners of America forum, I found a way to remove the hose and install a quick connect fitting. This has two benefits. The shower hose can be stored in a more out of the way … [Read more...] about Lance Trailer Outdoor Shower Upgrade

Cody, Wyoming – Emergency Room

July 20, 2020 by LeRoy Michaelson 1 Comment

We spent the night at a very quiet and affordable Chief Joseph RV Park. It was a very nice respite from a very expensive and crowded KOA in West Yellowstone. I cooked up some breakfast while Alessandra caught some sunshine. Readying myself for a quick shower, I discovered that the water heater didn't work. For a brand new trailer only on the tenth day of our first … [Read more...] about Cody, Wyoming – Emergency Room
